Nicolas Menu is a Paris-based Director and Photographer whose work sits at the crossroads of fashion, beauty, and film. After several years shaping visual identities as an Art Director, he returned to filmmaking—bringing with him a refined eye for composition and a strong creative instinct inherited from his years in the fashion industry.
Nicolas has developed a powerful, elegant, and emotionally attuned aesthetic. His images—both still and moving—are tactile, dynamic, and rooted in a sensitivity to texture, performance, and atmosphere.
His growing body of commercial work has positioned him as a director known for fluid technical execution, ambition, and a stylized, fashion-driven approach.
He has collaborated with Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Proenza Schouler, Lancôme, Bulgari, Givenchy, Estée Lauder, Dolce & Gabbana, MAC, L’Oréal, Helena Rubinstein, Sephora, Diesel, Jimmy Choo, Elie Saab, and Viktor & Rolf. His work appears in Vogue, Interview, Numéro, A Magazine Curated By, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, and more.
Recent projects include Bulgari’s B-ZERO1 campaign starring Lisa (Blackpink), the Serpenti campaign with Hikari Mori and Crystal Liu, Lancôme Génifique, and a L’Oréal Paris Makeup campaign with Kendall Jenner.
